Photography

Photography has been an important part of my creative work for more than 30 years. Working professionally across theatre, dance, portraiture and weddings, I have developed an instinct for capturing movement, gesture, expression and the moments that sit between the action.

Alongside my commercial and commissioned work, I have maintained a fine art photography practice. My Europe Collection explores place, atmosphere, architecture and the details encountered while travelling, while my dance works draw on my background in dance and choreography to explore movement, form and the human body.

Whether working with a performer on stage, a couple on their wedding day or creating a fine art image, I am interested in the same fundamental idea: capturing something that cannot be repeated - a moment, a gesture, a connection or a feeling.
